Day 34

We've all heard the phrase... gas induced smile. Or we've been asked "Is your baby smiling or does she just have gas?" In most instances I'm a firm believer that Annie smiles because she smiles, not because she has gas. That would be a lot of gas for one tiny little girl. Now try taking her to the bathroom by practicing EC and figuring out her smiles.... Does she really just have gas? Or is she smiling because she thinks it's fun? Hmmmm that will make you ponder for a while.

Although gas induced smiles are every bit as cute as real ones, I can't help but laugh when I take Annie to pee or poop. Does she really think this whole thing is funny enough to smile and even giggle at me? Or does she feel SO much better after relieving herself that she smiles?

Time will tell as she gets older, will she continue to smile while using the bathroom... stay tuned!
